Jersey Mike’s is in the process of removing portabella mushrooms from its menu. Some locations have already used up the last of their stock, and the mushrooms will no longer be available chain-wide by early October 2025.
The removal of portabella mushrooms affects sandwiches #64 to #66, i.e., the Grilled Portabella Mushroom & Swiss (pictured), the Portabella Cheese Steak, and the Portabella Chicken Cheese Steak.
If you’re a vegetarian, that leaves The Veggie (#14) as the chain’s remaining vegetarian sub.
Portabella mushrooms were first offered at Jersey Mike’s in March 2021.
